DESCRIPTION:[vc_row content_placement=”middle”][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”CESI trade unions tackle #noprecariouswork !” font_container=”tag:h3|font_size:27|text_align:left|color:%23222222″ use_theme_fonts=”yes” css_animation=”fadeInLeft”][vc_column_text]On 19th-20th of September 2019 CESI and its member organisations are meeting in Palermo\, Italy\, for the forthcoming CESI Academy launching event addressing the topic of “Precarious work – empowering trade unions to address the new challenges” #noprecariouswork. \nThe aim of the meeting is to: \n\ntake stock of the precarious working conditions encountered at national level in CESI members’ organisation (root causes\, trends\, multiplicity of factors\, loopholes in the system);\nhighlight the interlink between precarious work and the absence of social rights – with the severe impact on the concerned workers and the societies as a whole;\ndiscuss and propose effective remedies to provide fair employment conditions and access to social rights.
