ANIEF is national trade union representing the rights of all teachers, precarious or not. It aims to enhance the abilities of teachers within this profession, through training, advocacy, interest representation and litigation when teacher’s rights are not fully respected. In this video message, the President of ANIEF, Marcello Pacifico, explains the situation of Italian teachers in a precarious work contract and in particularly how the application of the 1999/70/EC Directive on fixed-term work at domestic level could solve the problem of precariousness in public education.
